The electrical equipment protection device is provided with over-current relays in the electrical control system. When the power press is overloaded, the over-current relay acts to cut off the power supply, thereby protecting the motor and screw. Most mechanical protection devices use shear pins (or safety keys), which are usually set on the output shaft of the motor. When the screw is overloaded, the protection pin is cut off, so that the transmission relationship between the motor and the screw is disengaged, thereby protecting the screw.
